The Cycle - part 1

Recently I've been working on the main character for the book "O Ciclo" ("The Cycle"), written by the wonderfully nice Wanessa Maciel.

Her name is Roberta, a somewhat bad-tempered teenager who happens to be the reincarnation of the nordic goddess Freya.

For her design, I first thought of a girl who is a bit rebel on her style, using various layers of clothes and textures, but I think I exceeded a bit. So we used more common wear later on.

I also wanted her to look smart and thoughtful, and focused her beauty on her expression, not necessarily on "natural beauty". I didn't want her to draw attention because she had a great body too, so she's a bit slim. I added bangs on her early design, but then we decided that showing her forehead made her look smarter and more expressive.

Recentemente tenho trabalhado no personagem principal de "O Ciclo", escrito por Wanessa Maciel.

Ela se chama Roberta, uma adolescente um tanto mal humorada que por acaso é a reencarnação da deusa nórdica Freya.

Pro design dela, primeiro pensei em uma garota com um estilo um tanto rebelde , usando muitas camadas de roupas e texturas, mas talvez tenha me excedido um pouco. Então usamos roupas um pouco mais normais depois.

Também queria que ela parecesse esperta e pensativa. e foquei sua beleza em sua expressão, não necessariamente em uma "beleza natural". Também não quis que ela chamasse a atenção por ter um "corpão", então a fiz um pouco magra. Tinha colocado umas franjas nos primeiros esboços, mas decidimos que deixar a testa à mostra a fez parecer mais esperta e expressiva.
